Auswirkungen von Trockenstress

In Zukunft werden stabile Ernteerträge unter zunehmenden Witterungsschwankungen erzielt werden müssen. Anpassungsmaßnahmen, zum Beispiel Anbau trockenresistenter Sorten oder wassersparende Bodenbearbeitung, führen jedoch typischerweise zu Ertragseinbußen. Um diese zu minimieren, werden biologische Anpassungsstrategien auf dem Level von Einzelpflanzen und Pflanzengemeinschaften sowie neuartige Züchtungs- und Anbauverfahren erforscht.
